Neil Finn is as important to my musical life as DG himself. One of my idols and IMO, the best songwriter out there.

if you've not watched this gig I beg you to watch it. I started last night at 10 am and stayed up til 1am. Incredible.

I was fortunate to be at the 1996 gig and it was unforgettable.

I have to admit, I cried at Don't Dream.

I will never forget, 1996, wandering back the following morning c. 8am and some of the crowd were still there singing, no joke.

It was amazing.

Superb stuff but always difficult to watch them without the huge personality and talent that was Paul Hester.

I saw them on numerous occasions in the UK and they never failed to deliver. As James says, one of the best songwriters of our time.

Can't watch just now, but love crowded house. went to a gig of theres some years ago and it happened to be the night Tim Finn joined them onstage again for a couple of numbers. Agreed Niel is an incredible songsmith. Sad about Paul Hester too, he made the live stuff very entertaining.

I totally agree re Hessie. I have seen him climb the lighting rig and also, g through a ladies handbag from the corwd on stage.

he was also a fucking incredible drummer, as is Matt the new guy.
