Is there something similar to salt-n-pepper, but black and *white* rather than black and *cream / yellow*?

Looking at the following photo (which to me seems similar to the "Zilla Cabs Grill" sample), I like the pattern but there is a yellow-y hue which I don't like.

Basically I think I want a monochrome colour scheme - i.e. except for the blue tolex, everything else should be black / white / grey / silver.  So not basketweave, wheat or oxblood.

Does grill cloth make any appreciable sonic difference?

For example, it's been suggested to me that Bluesbreaker cloth is so tightly woven that it attenuates treble frequencies.  Is this cork-sniffing, or a real effect?
