Let me guess, they get stuck on a ship, aliens are running around. the crew gets picked off one by one except for the last one who escapes in a shuttle pod and blows the ship up killing the aliens? They really need to change the record, a bit like Star Trek.

Trouble is that Alien worked so well because we didn't see 'it' for so long and that kept the tension high. But they can't do that again.

What will they use as the finale's plot complication: a cat, a little girl, maybe an ickle baby engineer?

Impossible to know, I enjoy the Alien franchise so I'm looking forward to this movie. I doubt they can recreate the suspense or tension of the first movie which is a classic but I'm just not discounting it being a good movie. Not yet anyway.
