Anyone got any black guitar stain I can borrow?

Mine was sparayed with Halfords Satin Black...8£ a can 1 can of grey primer just enough to cover the wood, 1 Can of black, used it all, nice thin finish which sunk nicely into the grain....I find the Satin black quite forgiving to spray too, nice light coats....

Feibings black is on fleabay for £8 - £10 posted. Make sure to get the right one, the spirit based one. I've got some of that and some other brand I can't remember and the label's all blacked up now, same difference to use though.

I second that. Fiebings will do a great job. Either clear satin lacquer or Danish/Tru-oil over the top.
