The actual reality is that we are just following our natural instincts to redevelop and survive-that's it, everything we do has its basis in that.

No.
There should be technological advancements and scientific study that ensures that we cannot harm the planet. Innovation crushes censorship and control - it always has, and *always* will.
And correlation does not equals causation.
You are right, correlation =/= causation. But 100% of the fish we catch didn't die for any reason other than fishing.

Your line of thinking Hertz eventually ends up at jailing people for eating meat, wearing non-vegan clothing, and drinking a beer in front of their children.
I'm not down with that.
Hertz joins the fucking military, wants to fly planes for a living and Probabaly eats fertilised food, farmed by diesel guzzling machines and uses plastic every day....
Theres no Mr Burns out there laughing at the world being harmed, it's just a fact of life, you can tell everyone to stop using so much oil, but you have to start with yourself or you'll just get told to fuck off.
The only thing you're talking about with any kind of sense is the over fishing, but unless youve never eaten fish, you're also part of the problem.

I don't think that there is a solution to be found in the next 50 years. the technology simply does not exist. However a marked expansion in conservation efforts is required, expand areas of ocean that are free from fishing and roll out more biodegradable packaging and recycled goods. There are biodegradable 6 pack holders, why do no beer companies use them?
I know that there is evil in the world, and that we are forced to partake in it. Hell, the electricity that powers this laptop is probably from a coal fired power station.
War is real, death is real. Religion drives a lot of the hatred and death. The question being asked is that should people be punished for their beliefs? and I've already said yes - if they affect others.
I don't imagine that I can fix all the worlds ills myself. But I believe that change will bring progress and preservation of life is important.
I want to join the military because preserving life through the elimination of harmful ideologies (Not just religion, but people who are brutal and unfair dictators like gadaffi) and expanding the opportunities available to people is how I see change happening.
An astronaut or Nobel prize winning scientist is just as likely to be Syrian, or Congolese as they are a brit or American. It's just the gap in opportunity that is holding back more than half the worlds population from implementing their ideas or learning what they need to make those life changing discoveries.
I could go to Africa and build schools, but whats the fucking point when religious nuts come and kidnap and rape every girl there?
I don't see the world as being entirely good, and I know that if positive change is to happen then some people must step up to the plate and effect that change.

Pretty much what has been said by every religious zealot since the dawn of time. Like them, you know what is 'Right' better than all those who don't think like you?

You can sit here and bitch at the evil humans destroying the world, but as a 1st worlder millennial you're in category A for big carbon footprint.
Practice what you preach, get rid of your mobile phone, start cycling to work, leave the military and join an organisation that works hard on its environmental impact, until you do these and many other changes-why the fuck should anyone else?
It's easy to point the finger at other people not doing what they should be doing while you continue to do whatever it is you want to do.
Hyperbole about African religious nuts I'm at a loss why you put it in there.
Waffle about going to jai for beliefs-I've not commented on that bit of your argument.

Also if you're talking about Boko Haram, let's not forget that they murder the boys. I dunno about you, but I'd rather be raped than murdered. Although preferably both tbh.
