Had a similar situation when my amp died during line check, 2 minutes before we were meant to start. My backup was in the van. I was graciously loaned another bands back up amp, a masrhall MG combo (which was luckily on stage anyway as there head had also blown).
Very glad I had the EQD palisades on my board.
Normally use it to push the amp OD harder, but though the line check and first few songs had dialled in 2 useable tones. By no means was it the best I've sounded on stage. But it got us through the set!
Sounds glorious.
Have also done it with a mooer black secret (RAT clone) and my WEM, also glorious.
I like cheap pedals.

ZIM would be a very good shout- two channels, flexible EQ.
RAT would be in the running.
I'd also consider a Skreddy Screwdriver. Constantly impressed at how many sounds come out as you turn the knobs.
if it was a festival gig or something, and it was just get on stage, plug in, play, get off, I'd probably go for the ZIM.
I still get to take my delay pedal too, right?
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
Just one. It is that good.
High gain, low gain, bit o' hair - it just nails my sound.
