Its a brand which was owned by Brish Music Strings, in the mid/late 70s.

Oooh! I remember those the first time around, I recall John Verity (Argent) having a band called Phoenix and using them as backline (not entirely sure who was endorsing/sponsoring who!) - have you got the matching cab as well?

I know this is an old thread but just wanted to mention that I found one of these complete with cab in my guitar and woodstore room behind a load of exotic lumber I was sorting through.
I didn't know I still had it. I got it from the late James Honeyman Scott of the Pretenders when we were playing support at a gig In Manchester ( I think). I remember it being a real powerhouse of an amp and loved the gain on this one. I also found the footswitch and the original manual.
I'm going to give it a dust off and try it out tomorrow.
