In case of some issues (very-very unlikely), buyer will have support from Italian office (they speak English just fine)

I'm interested in one of the metal preamps but there's so much variety I have no idea which to buy. Can you advise perhaps with examples of bands or guitarists who sound similar? For example, how about the sound of Mark V Mesa Boogie? Would that be the R1?
