Players with rusty fingers who get upset if I won't let them play my guitars. No because last time you touched my guitar I had to change the strings, screws and pickup covers. Go and corrode your own stuff.
Klon haters, its a pedal. Then when they rant how expensive it is I tell them I paid £200.
Classically trained pianists in a band. No thanks.
This one has been said before but 70s fenders. One exception a 73 strat with frailin s.
Mesa amps, love the concept, build quality looks etc, but Mr Boogie is it too much to ask to make them sound great with all controls at 12 o clock?
On off switches masquerading as knobs...
Pedals that need some specialist power supply, adapter, crossed fingers and Buddhist prayer flags just to make it work. Dont these people know that we all use pedalpower 2?
Gain, less is more. Actually less is less and precisely what you need. I know this because I cannot tell the difference between your pointy guitar and my chainsaw,

2.to get more hits on the thing they are trying to sell.
but it pisses me off so much, i wouldn't take it if they were giving it away...
Or worse, questions like "your guitar is fake because of this" and when you point out that they're wrong and don't know what they're talking about, they reply with an "oh yeah" again, without having any intention of buying said guitar
Id also like to add "I brought a $100 guitar, put $300 pickups in and it sounds just as good as a custom shop
Actually that's just getting me started....
when people know one way to accomplish a task successfully, and therefore assume all other approaches are incorrect
internet experts who fail to back it up with actual experience or examples.

It will literally make me immediately ignore the rest of the post/thread.
Other "guitar speak" Americanisms are nearly as bad.
"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski
"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein
Fortunately it only appears to be our American friends who indulge in this weird habit.
