SOLD: 2001 Epiphone Casino - Turquoise w/Bigsby
What's Hot
I've had this guitar for 10 years now, imported from the States in 2007. Added some chrome knobs, switches, and B7 Bigsby - chrome and turquoise always looks great. Since buying my '67 this doesn't get played as much, despite being louder unplugged. It's a great workhorse.

That. Is. All. Kinds. Of. Awesome.
Never seen a Casino that colour before, and it's blooming marvellous! Wish I had some pennies!

(I'm a little bit jelly, it's lovely)
Too slow dammit
My own Casino was very dull sounding so I had the pickups rewound.
The results were better but they still sounded dull. They got a better when I took the metal covers off but my plastic replacements are a bit of a botch job.
Was thinking about buying some Mojo P90s, as he's one of the few makers who do a proper Casino sized and spaced replacement set but they only come with metal covers. Just wondering if they have that sparkle that I've heard in other Casinos/ES330s? I realise it's difficult to be specific but any thoughts would be appreciated.
The @Mojopickups set dropped straight in, and sound identical to the original set in my '67. They certainly have that top end clarity with a magic airy quality to them, so I couldn't have been happier. I went for the A5s.
At £140 for the set, it's a no brainer in my eyes. If one of the originals die in the '67, I'll have Marc rewind it without a doubt.
