What guitar would you buy today?
lets set some totally arbitrary ground rules for the sake of keeping 59 bursts out of the list.
guitars manufactured in the last 20 years
relatively readily available (show up for sale occasionally at least)
state the going price
attach a photo if you can find a nice one
tell us some reasons
what would you do with it
ill kick off:
PRS Pricate Stock Super Eagle II. £10k
although I am not a professed John Mayer fan I have great respect for his balls to stand with the dead and learn jerry's music. The guitar seems to be of the highest PRS standard and although it's pure bling and Paul Reed Smith gushing marketing tactics, it's a good looking instrument.
I'd keep it in its case and play it regularly at home.

If only!
*An Official Foo-Approved guitarist since Sept 2023.
Nil Satis Nisi Optimum
Feline Lion with a quilted maple top finished in blue (basically take the purple one I often see photos of, but in blue).
Failing that, would have to be a PRS along the same lines. Singlecut, Maple top, blue finish, or I could settle for one of these - http://www.prsguitars.com/index.php/privatestock/gallery_guitar/collection_series_ix_quilt
Marlin Sidewinder.
I don't think I could handle the quality though.
I'm a man of simple tastes. DC Jr by Feline. Yes please.
