SOLD: Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro - 1995 BP22HT SSH
Hi all
Firstly, apologies for the lack of decent pictures (now added) - I know you'd like to see some, but my laptop died and I'm living from my phone at the moment which makes things a little tedious. Happy to email pics if you PM me.
This is my 1995 Berlin Pro (serial number illegible, but I believe it's 7???).
The core features are all standard Pro spec: Mahogany body, figured maple top, set neck, ebony fretboard, locking Sperzel tuners etc.
However, this example is a 22 fret, hardtail version with 2x single coils and a humbucker in the bridge. The controls are: Volume, Tone, 5 way Strat type switch.
The guitar originally had Kent Armstrong pickups but I've replaced the humbucker with an SD JB. I've also upgraded the bridge with a Gotoh one. Both original parts are included.
The guitar comes with the original Eggle/Hiscox case which is a little tatty, but works well. Overall the guitar is in very good condition with minimal wear and just a few tiny marks around the front edge of the body. Of note is that the lacquer on the front of the body is a little cloudy in places, this isn't really obvious but at certain angles you can see it. I'm not sure if this is in the finish or could be buffed out.
Price - £725 plus postage or collected from Nottingham.
