Cherry Sunburst.
Silverburst.
Gold hardware.
Fake ageing.
I dislike all the above however if I played a guitar that sounded and played amazingly I wouldn't turn it down on colour. You can't hear colour.
Bright Red
Blue
Green (except seafoam green which I love)
Gold hardware - only exception is on a black LP Custom which I think is one of the classiest looking guitars going. They look better with black covered pickups though.
Cherry red which is funny since my only guitar is a cherry red sg. I sometimes think about getting it refinished. It looks orangey in daylight but most of the time it's dark red.
Any coloured acoustic (including sunburst): acoustics should be wood-coloured!
Translucent colours over quilt and I'm not too keen on highly figured tops, although there can be exceptions.

Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youAny other colour I can live with but not blue.
Oh and also I hate quilted maple.
3TSB. Looks cheap IMHO. Although it's fine on a Precision Bass for some reason.
Now supposedly cool, for some inexplicable reason.

e.g. Sonic is stunning with rosewood on a strat; not so stunning with a maple board.
Black looks shite on a LP Standard; stunning on a custom with gold hardware.
A Gibson ES175 looks ridiculous in green but stunning in sunburst.
It's not a binary thing.
However, as a Fender person, not many metallics I like (other than Sherwood or Burg Mist)

I don't like black guitars or natural wood electric guitars (acoustics obviously fine). But I think the only guitar that should be allowed a gold finish is a Les Paul, any other gold guitar just doesn't look right to me.
Any shade of purple
Bright public-toilet white
Orange
Conversely those colours on a Les Paul look good.
