Although, yes, I guess most people imagine it was written by her and not by a bloke called Robert and I didn’t know until recently. <br><br>My only Cyndi Lauper story is that she held up the recording of We Are The World. Apparently they had to stop for several hours whilst they sorted out a mystery noise that was coming through on the recording - turned out to be Cyndi’s bangles.

  • Louie Louie - The Kingsmen, originally by Richard Berry. I think the guy who used to DJ The Catfish in Brighton had both versions on vinyl. He got understandably irate when we lurched and stumbled over to his decks when out on a mate's stag do.<br><br>I Don't Wanna Talk About It - Rod Stewart. The original by Crazy Horse is so much better.
