2 days to go and I’ve just finished putting the tree up. Music blasting. Crawling about the living room floor cursing the lack of available four bars. Anyway - as a person what joined this ‘ere forum earlier in the year I will take this opportunity to wish all you pleasant pluckers a happy Christmas and hope you have a good one.
Let’s see how long this thread can last without - bah humbug! / a debate on the merits of Christmas time (or whatever you choose to call it / a moan about how much this is going to cost us!
Cheers, people. Have a drink on me.

I'm well into the Christmas spirit today, got 10 days off the treadmill and looking forward to spending some time playing guitar, listening to music and watching telly. I'm slightly sloshed and probably will be for most of Christmas.

Have a good one you lot!
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
Merry Christmas to you all.
It's now past 9pm on 23rd December.
We have opened a bottle of fizzy stuff.
It's fair to say that Christmas has now started. Previously, wishes of "Happy Christmas" were returned with "and a Happy December to you too". But it's Christmas Eve in a few hours, so let Christmas begin.
Apart from all those people who work in retail and have to deal with the panicking public for a few more hours yet.
Merry Xmas you lot.
Hope everyone has a good one!
We started to do similar for my oldest son, he'd come up Christmas day night to presents off relatives but get the ones off us on boxing Day so I got a "Christmas eve" with him. My step daughter who lives with me got the same, and even though I've not seen him now since he was 10 years old, the tradition continues.
Never one for xmas in my youth but have 2 young kids now and it’s awesome.
Just in Matlock now waitin for the Santa Team train.
