Well we have seen the crazy expensive custom ones.. These prices even though are still a bit expensive for a slab model seem a bit more reasonable..

To me, the quirkiness of the original RD series was a large part of their appeal. It is also why the majority of potential purchasers rejected it. Without the quirks, the design amounts to an unconvincing halfway house between a Firebird and an Explorer.

Tbh, the original RD weighed about the same as a small hatchback thanks to all that maple so maybe it’s an improvement?
The "almost right" is deliberate I'm certain - this then leaves them scope to make sure they can charge 3K for a custom shop Jr with everything in the correct place.
