I also had some Tim Tams for Xmas, not new but rarely spotted. The Tim Tam Slam ( using them as a chocolate straw) remains satisfying.
Have you noticed that a dry dog paw smells like a digestive biscuit?
Also, if you're coeliac, mcvities do gluten free versions of their milk chocolate hobnobs, and they're excellent (and like their glutinous brethren stand up to a good tea dunking)
