"Mini USB" ? Several variants can you give makes and models and a good photo of the port?
I have a box full of odd USB cables, if I can match it up you are welcome to it.
Dave.
What about https://www.amazon.co.uk/degree-right-angle-Printer-cable/dp/B01GZX576C/ref=sr_1_17?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1526132280&sr=1-17&keywords=usb+a+to+b&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_browse-bin%3A1029992031
With a https://www.amazon.co.uk/AKORD-Female-Mini-Male-Adapter/dp/B00303HSSG/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_lp_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CK7SZ3K7EPW38C4GV1H6
Right, get a cheapo A-B and a one with that miniplug then cut off the ones you don't need and just 'twist slice' the wires, bit of Elastoplast if y like.
This will bugger the ultimate speed of the cable but MIDI controllers are USB 1.1 AFAIK so I bet it will be fine.
The crunch issue is if the two cables have different colours? If so study the 'pin outs' very carefully on Wiki but so long as you don't send the 5V DC somewhere it didn't orta be you should be ok.
Dave.
I had similar problem in needing a USB-C 3.1 (male) to USB 3.0 Micro B (male) cable. Eventually found Belkin did one. And I looked, but no, Belkin don't appear to do a USB B (male) to USB Mini-b (male). Ditto Lindy.
Mick suggested a certain hard adaptor to complement the cable he posted. However instead of that, I suggest a 'cable adapter' as pictured, which might give you a little more flexibility at the pedal.
PS Mr Heath "ecc83" Robinson above is surely having a laugh.....
