Life based- a “permanent” job is only permanent if you decide to stick at it permanently.
Guitarwise... that playing in bands outside of your normal musical genre can be musically really rewarding.

Playing a lot of piano in the latter half of the year and further exploring the modular synth thing.

I've learnt a bunch of theory though and I'm into electronic music now.
