  • The design is so utilitarian. I know it's sad but it looks worse than Samson/Behringer and I've seen more attractive toasters.

  • still don't get why they put built-in stereo effects but not a proper stereo power output and not a proper stereo effects loop
Stereo is just for headphone and usb then ?

Suhr are also bringing out a version 2 reactive load with built in IR’s. Supposed to be a more simple approach, much cheaper than the OX and will be out before Xmas.

That would be great - more competition should hopefully lead to better products and prices for all.

Looks like prices are starting to be announced. At £1143, it is unlikely to be very popular!

Or Fryette Powerstation - why would you pay that kind of money for it? :)

That's hilarious - priced at what they think the market will tolerate based on the UA OX.

They must be bouncing off the runaway success of the Waza branded amp heads.

1200 quid to make your favourite valve amp disappear in the mix like a Katana?
    Can't wait.

What makes you think it'll disappear in the mix? Sorry if this is a joke and I'm misunderstanding.

I gigged a Katana for months, it was a nightmare trying to get it to sit in a mix consistently.

I guess in my mind Boss have always been down as "good solid products at far less than boutique prices", so was expecting no more than about 600 for this.

They fixed that problem. Adding "Waza" to the name of a product apparently changes one word in that sentence.

That's fine, but I'm not sure how that's relevant to this product? It uses yourvalve amp for tones, so if you can't get it to sit in the mix, that's your amp, not this product. Sorry mate, don't mean to sound petty.
