A child's 'junior dining chair'. The seat is 50cm high and small, so it's more like a stool with a back. My kids don't need it any more and I was going to charity shop it, but I found it was perfect for playing guitar.
A Stokke Tripp Trapp might be worth a look too - also designed for a child, but completely customisable for height, seat position etc. We've got one but it hasn't been retired from child duties yet, I'll get it when it is .

I think they're designed for playing computer games but I wonder if they'd be any use for playing bass with headphones on so you can feel the notes as if there was a loud amp.
I know there are floor square things you stand on for this purpose and they're very expensive but designed specifically for playing bass. But would like to be able to sit down.
