Mini pedals are all right if you've got mini feet, otherwise you're stepping on 3 pedals at a time.
In fairness, and with great restraint, bollocks

Am I the only one who hates mini pedals? They stupid and wobbly when velcroed, never have room for a battery, and you can’t the change knobs with your feet.

theres always stomptrap as an elaborate solution to one of those ^

Hopefully down the line MXR will release a 'big box' version...

Those things are nearly 20 quid each!
That works out at about a thousand bike links.

...and ironically more expensive than some mini-pedals!

I hope there's good things for PaulC from the MXR collab - everything I've read says he is one of the true  gents of the pedalworld.
He is absolutely one of the good guys, who's been ripped off quite a bit and has had difficulties. I hope this pays off for him.

I'm going to blow your mind with a new concept - spacing.

Mini pedals are crap for reasons stated above. I also find you have to be quite precise with switching so you don’t move the big knob and mess up your settings. I’d rather have 3 of the small controls than 1 big/2 small. Or even better some press-in ones like the old Ibanez Tone Lok series. I found you can kind of get around this with a stomp topper but those are ugly as sin. The Ibanez minis are slightly better as they have the angled top which helps avoid the knobs.

George L’s - I use them for everything - there’s no point in using flatter ones - the spacing is pretty much ideal like this.

I gigged this for ages - very stable, very easy to use - pedals were bike chain linked and then further stabilised by the top plate. The back row pedals tended to be on or off per song rather than quick changes - however the next version had the back row higher. No issues with spacing with my size 13s. I’m currently reassembling this with slightly different pedal choices - biggest problem is I can’t find the plate!

Defeats the object of tiny pedals. I thought the whole idea was to cram as many effects as possible onto a limited area.

I have a Pedaltrain, but in my present gigging group (10 piece band with horns), I just don't have space. So I use a chopping board with a few cheap mini pedals, a TU2 and a rechargeable battery pack. Fits in the front of my gig bag. Works fine and I'm not precious about it. I've yet to have any topple over.

That's a terrible sounding demo. I'm guessing it's the amp.

Yep. That's very fuzzy and not how I remember the Timmy sounding. Surprised with the usually excellent Andy.

As an aside, I love that bound Tele!

I think it's down to the pickups. In my experience the tim I had was only good with fender type single coils.
    particularly with strats and offsets

Andertons have them priced at £139.99, perhaps a little too much for a mini pedal.

That will probably come down by £10 when they have been out a few months.  Still too much though.
