I remember seeing a video of these guys on Scuzz, around 8 years ago or so, roughly. I think they had reformed for the Download festival, but were originally active during the 90s, early 00s I think.
They sounded like a cross between early Machine Head, with a nod to Pantera. I just cannot remember the name. I came across a video on YouTube of their stuff shortly after seeing them on Scuzz, but can't remember what they are called.
A long shot but anyone remember them? I know, once I see a video link "yeah, that's them!"... but as of yet, no joy.

I found this very interesting article on how a thriving UK metal scene in the 90's came to an end with the coming of Nu-metal from the US - with Korn's set at Donnington in 1996 being a key moment in this transition. Lists a few bands around in the late 90's/early 2000's.
