(im aware this isn’t something to be proud of)
Everything is currently channel one (Pro tools included for what I'm testing), the usb pad works, the MK works, but the Piano doesn't
Also, I thought I would by cheap Midi cables, stupid fecking me. They just fall out of the back of the MK, so I'm spending the whole time doing this with arm down the back of it
How are you connecting to the PC - is it Midi or is it Midi over usb.
As a test - can you play the MC from the Pianos keybed over midi? At least that will start to narrow things down.
If I hit play now, the piano is playing from the PC (along with the MK), but the PC doesn't 'hear' any data from the Piano if I try to record it
It's like I need to flip the thru
Pref cheap, but not as cheap as the cables, doh!

I can just shift the cable from one to the other, but I guess that's a pain... not an £85 pain however (no reflection on the sellers price, it's just overkill for me)
The new Fantom (if it ever gets here) doesnt have soft thru... So I cant daisy chain my RD to Fantom and up to my synths. BUT the RD does have 2 Midi outs (and I can specify which midi channel is transmitted on each midi port). so one could go to the Fantom in. Fantom out could then go to Midisport along with the RDs 2nd out - and on up to the synths.
