Recall Rolf Harris was featured in ads for these back in the day

And around 1973, my dad sold these, via the distributor he worked for, to various stores - Around Christmas he'd fill a transit van with stock - Sell them within a day or two to various dealers on his patch, and repeat this 2/3 times as stock/supplies was available

Ooh I have one somewhere, I think one of my kids has it. I seem to remember trying to work out if I could plug it into an amp and use it for something in the band ( never did).

I saw someone play Purple Haze on one once but this was absolutely brilliant. I never had one as I was a bit young and used to break anything complicated but I always coveted them. The Rolf connection shouldn't diminish this person's achievement.
