"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski
"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein
Here's a spectrum:
Soul Food etc, honky loud mids, neutral lows
Ts-9/sd-1 - smooth, bass cut, mid boost
Zendrive - similar to a ts but more sizzle on the top, slight mid boost
ODR-1 - smoothest, fat low end, flattish mids
Thorpy Gunshot - nice bit of everything
Timmy - neutral grit, low and high eq
Bluesbreaker - neutral but a bit raspy up top
That's what I was thinking. My golden horse is anything but dull and muddy.

That JHS bloke's selling one for a bargain price.
I'd highly recommend getting a Barber gain changer as it is awesome, really easy to dial in and sounds great with everything.
