Single-sized, multi modulation pedals?

What's Hot

Sometimes I’m in the mood for phaser, sometimes rotary, sometimes tremolo - and I mostly use it for some “interesting wobble” rather than a super specific effect.

I’ve got a Phase 95 on my Nano board at the mo and it’s pretty cool for some general wobbliness but I was wondering about something compact that gave me a decent stab at more than one flavour.

Pulse Doppler is too big, although I see one in my further future cos I love how it sounds.

What’s worth going down a YouTube rabbit hole for?
Red ones are better.

The Old Blood Noise Endeavours Visitor looks cool. Bit of general wobble that interacts in interesting ways I think.

I like the EQD Night Wire as a harmonic trem that also does some phaser impressions. Find myself using it more and more as an auto-wah though which I didn't fully expect.

Zoom MS70CDR is very good for this purpose. Update to the latest firmware and you have loads of options.

Nova Modulator? Presets and you can run two thing at a time. Such as two tremolo to get wub-WUB-wub-WUB, or a phaser and a light fluttery tremolo...

I looked at that - doesn’t seem to do rotary/trem/vibe

I thought they might be cheap by now as they are a relatively old design. But new still £125ish.

But if it's for a gigging board do you want to be bending down to be resetting knobs all the time; isn't one good sounding modulation pedal better in that circumstance?
And if it's not for gigging then just a huge board with 17 modulation pedals instead?

Having said that I notice the Alexander Wavelength has presets so maybe that's more usable if needing to take it down the proverbial Dog and Duck.

Mooer does a tiny multi-mode modulation pedal.

Electro-Harmonix certainly used to have something of that ilk.

The formula is a rotary mode selector plus Depth, Rate and Mix pots.

EHX Mod 11. It’s like the modulation equivalent of the Canyon Delay.
