I can't believe nobody has mentioned... Gov't Mule?? I would class them as heavy blues.<div><br></div><div>Also not sure about Clutch? But if Clutch are a 'winner' we can throw in Crobot too. Love that band, and a truly brutal debut album they did make! </div><div><br></div><div>Also try...</div><div>- Blues Pills</div><div>- Derek Trucks</div><div>- Vintage Trouble (maybe) </div><div>- Saint Jude (album is called Diary of a Soul Fiend)</div><div>- The Black Crowes (I would count them as heavy blues anyway!)</div>

Bukka White - plays slide acoustic and it is so heavy....Charley Patton - sounds like he found the blues first...BB King - Live at the Regal.....Albert Collins - anything live, so much attack it is scary......anything live from Buddy Guy, makes Hendrix sound childish...(voodoo childish, meh :P )
