My Surname: I used to frequent BossArea and MusicRadar forums as Ollie Ship.
Q2: Where in the world/country are you?
Southampton, for an uncertain period of time.
Q3: What's your main musical ambition?
To remain consistently inspired to play? Paying my rent with music would be nice but I'd hate for it to become a chore.
Q4: Your "best" bit of gear - just the one?
Hard to pick from my three modded Teles and my Blackstar Artisan is up there –– but I suspect the Tele Deluxe w/Creamery Pickups in my DP will be saved first in a house fire.

I'll be up front I've joined this site primarily for the classified section, I'm not interested in selling anything, I'm actually interested in buying one or two guitars that I have seen advertised for sale there, if they are still available that is, though it won't be until next week before I purchase anything, Wednesday or Thursday to be precise, so apart from buying a couple of guitars from the classified section I'll probably not interact or contribute to this forum.

Q2: For my sins I live in North Manchester, but am hoping to move (not far) sometime in the next year. Time for a change of scene and to get closer to family and friends in Preston.
Q3: I haven't gigged in ages, and consider myself a home player now, but I would like to re-kindle some passion for studying and practice. What I enjoy most nowadays is routing and soldering, and I'd like to improve my skills in that area too.
Q4: Hmm, very much a moveable feast depending on my mood, but almost certainly a Tele or a Strat - current favourite is a bitsa Strat built from Highway 1 parts and SD pickups.
Q5: Just one! Well, I think many of the things we hear as teenagers stay with us, and the Joshua Tree has been getting a lot of play at home recently, so I'll say With or Without You by U2. Not a clever or cool answer, but an honest one.
