That is you bought one based on its legendry status but just didn't see what all the fuss was about or couldn't make it sound good for you......mine was the Big Muff....and the DS-1. Yours?

Boss OD-1 and Klone. Both require volume to shine; more volume than I can use as a home player.

Bad Monkey. Not sure it qualifies as legendary, being a TS variant, but it was raved about. I like TS style pedals - I thought the Hardwire CM-2 was way better than the Bad Monkey but am now happy with my TS Mini.

Another shout for the Big Muff - tried so many variants but couldn't get it to work for me - I'm far happier with a Fuzz Face inspired circuit.

Big Muff for sure, though my homebuilt one is much better than the stock modern ones. I also didn't remotely get the Bad Monkey thing.

  • I love the Big Muff, it needs a big amp and big cab though.

Big Muff for me too, although i thought the tone wicker version was a lot better its still off my board at the moment (replaced by a Lunar Module clone)

I'm not a fan of the fuzz, it's never a tone I've liked on any type, Muff, Face etc.

  • Klone.

Loud or quiet it did nothing I couldn't accomplish with other pedals.

However, a lot of this is down to the amp... Prolly perfect with other amps.

Digitech Whammy original, glitchy, tracks worse than an asthmatic hippo, total ruiner of tone and never quite sounded in tune, so pitch shifting always sounded off, great for siren noises tho.

    Digitech space station.

Can't believe all the fuss that developed around this. Horrible metallic sounding and noisy. Awful buffer and rubbish patch changing.

Oh and I agree about the Rat.

TS-9, BBE Sonic Stomp and Big Muff. I prefer a more ragged, aggressive fuzz. Can't stand the smooth singing type fuzz.
Every chorus pedal I've ever come across apart from the Arion with chorus and depth turned right down.
