We are going to Algarve for 5 days and then the Amalfi coast for 2 weeks.
Never been to either place.

Algarve for me. Just me and Mrs Chuffola - first holiday (of more than a couple of days) without kids for 18 years.

Sunny Pembroke for a week, wife's illness precludes flying, so off to the seaside we go

We did Egypt last month, and going to rural Australia for a wedding in July.

Did Iceland. Off to Toronto for a few days by myself, and then family holidays in Poland over summer.

Wife's gone home to Thailand for a month so nowhere for about the 4th year in a row. Getting time off in the summer is a nightmare at our place, have to book about a year in advance.

I've got a week booked in June with windsurfing club to Fuerteventura.  

Just about to book flights to Athens in September to go island hopping for 3 weeks. Fairly unplanned but will include Milos, Kimolos, Serifos and probably a couple of others. Will end with a couple of nights in Athens before flight home.

I'm hoping to go somewhere beautiful in the UK

Scotland, the dales, west country, Cumbria etc. Should be cheap in a hostel and can take some walking and photography kit.

USA in May (DC, Virginia, SF (Pacific Coast Highway), Grand Canyon) and France in August for a motorbike trip (Bilbao ferry, across the Pyrenees by the Cathar route, up to the Alps for some twisties, then home. Phew!

It was supposed to be Amsterdam in February and the Vendée in the summer. However, as we never got to Amsterdam looking like touring from Calais up through Belgium and Holland including Amsterdam in August. Worst part of our tours is always getting to Folkestone and back.

Going to Vancouver soon and doing a cruise up to Alaska while we're there. My missus also seems to be determined to spend the kids' inheritance at the moment and has booked us a few days in Cornwall and a week in Dubrovnik for later in the year.

Cyprus in June, first overseas holiday since 2011 when I got married.

Cyprus for us, too - fortnight in Paphos next month  We rent a ground-floor flat on the outskirts, perfect for the two of us.

Then back to Paphos in October as my youngest has decided to get married there!

Guess which will be more expensive...

@hywelg - island-hopping sounds good, how are you planning to do it - ferries?  We went to Kefalonia last year, and there seemed to be ferries coming and going every day.

Also, what will you do for accommodation?

Indeed.  My mate owns a nice apartment in Kusadasi (west coast) and he's very twitchy now.  I suppose it will depend on Erdogan's view of whether he wants to accommodate ex-pats or not.
