    Having being originally tempted by (but resisted) the previous deals on Eventide pedals, I grabbed a set of Eventide plugins in the G4M "sale" (which is still on-going with little sign of ending).

    Still, seems to be a good price and - thus far - I've been impressed with what they do.

    I got Ultrareverb a few years ago, permanent fixture on my vocal FX chain. Quality reverb with tonnes of tweakability.

    That's a good price

    It's on sale at Plugin Boutique, but still £129

    One thing to note is that Soundtoys are still on sale and they are ex Eventide folks if you want some more shimmery goodness.

    The Jacob Collier Audience Choir plugin has been released today to coincide with the release of Djesse Volume 4 and it's free (Native Instruments). For those unfamiliar with him, part of his live shows involves using the audience as a choir, giving different notes and sounds to different sections of the crowd to sing then he conducts them up and down in pitch, dynamics etc almost like an x/y controller I guess, creating a lush pad effect in the room which he then uses as part of his songs on stage. He did it at every show on the last tour, then found a way to use every one of them on the first track of the new album,  "100,000 Voices" which is pretty cool. From that came this plugin I guess.

    I'm a massive fan of his, listening to his stuff has changed me musically in a lot of ways. But even if you're not a fan, this should be a really cool plugin for background pads in the recording process I reckon

    Yup, I saw that offer too @Bod ;

    Any plugin $29.99, apart from a very long list of plugins that aren't $29.99.  Looked at a few and couldn't be bothered sifting through the rest to see if anything I fancied was actually included in the offer.

    This offer might work a bit better; 2 for $50, 3 for $60, 4 for $70 (all prices plus 20% for UK Vat) although my first bundle build didn't work out too well.

    UAD are doing a pro studio bundle with fender Rhodes, minimoog, 1176 compressors and other nice little tricks which comes to £74 if you use the code: JUNESAVE25

    You need to make an account and have an ilok account too.

    I bought a bundle of UAD plugins recently, The UAD Essentials Bundle for about £45 which has some compressors, a nice channel strip, space echo, plate reverb, tape machine, an eq and a synth. I've not used the eq or the synth yet but the others are really nice. Then they sent me a £25 off code, so I bought the Capitol Chambers which has been used a lot since I got it and seems very versatile. Then they sent me another £25 off code so I bought the  Electra 88 Vintage Keyboard Studio which is absolutely beautiful and again has many varying features which make it very versatle.

    I suppose I fell for their deliberate trap of "here's a cheap bundle...now buy more stuff" but they've worked really nicely in the stuff I've done for the Cover and Composition challenges so I'm happy with them. The Deal posted above seems to be the bundle I bought plus a few extra things (including the rhodes one i bought separately, d'oh) but good deals all round just depends what you need. They do sound lovely

    A lot of the names of those plugins seem to have been added to my plugin list in Cubase however I don't own any of them - so when i click on one to see what on earth it is, it just tells me i don't have authorisation to open them and directs me to the IK Custom Shop or whatever it's called. I think I have one T-Rack plugin that I got as a freebie (possibly via Plug In Alliance or something like that?) and it was after installing that when all these others appeared. Very odd

    And therein lies the issue with IK Multimedia. Installs ALL versions of the plugin even if you just want VST3, for example, and all the plugins even if you just want the 1176, for example.

  • I hate that IK installs the lot, as ranted, but I cracked and bought the T-racks Max at £47 from plugin boutique. Bargain for what you get. Decided to renew my licence for Reaper too, after a dabble with Logic. Feels nice to be home!
