    That definitely!

Also Rickenbackers. In particular, the Susannah Hoffs

    or the Roger McGuinn 370

I own one. I bought it because it was a good guitar. I don't think I'd ever heard the guy play.

Fender JD Telecaster (CIJ Jerry Donahue sig)

Money no object? Probably a Peter Green/Gary Moore/Kirk Hammett Les Paul, or maybe the Paul Kossoff one.

Of course I'm going to say it, as I've got one. The Johnny Marr Jag. Every day of the week.

The Troy Van Leeuwen Jazzmaster looks great as well. Lovely lovely oxblood.

Has anyone mentioned the 2002(ish) Gary Moore Les Paul yet?  (Not the later BFG version).

If you could get a version of the Guthrie with a nice stain on it, or even in Olimpic White of Shell pink. It looks so bland as it is though. Which is annoying as it's spec is lovely and a baked reinforced neck is perfect for Madrid. If I buy another Fender it will not have vintage style truss rod adjustment. Arse pain to say the least.

The Joe perry boneyard les paul, I've wanted one for years.... just seems to be the perfect signature guitar.

Since I'm currently listening to Loudness following my thread earlier:

I know it looks ridiculous, but whatever. I reckon Akira Takasaki is the reason Anchang and Syu, from Japanese metal bands Sex Machineguns and Galneryus respectively, chose to have star-shaped signature models of their own, given his influence:

The subtlety and restraint is what I love the most about them.

I think I own the signature I would have, Fender J Mascis in Purple Sparkle.
I still regret not buying one new when Guitar Guitar had one in, at a time I was spending big on pedals and could've afforded it if I'd just calmed down on them for a bit. Argh.

Also more recently, the Kurt Cobain Mustang in blue with the stripe. I did buy a killer SG that day instead though so I'm not quite so sore about that one.

  • My own.

It’ll look weird, probably not work and remain 100% unplayed while I fanny about with other things.

J Mascis Jazzmaster, or Paul Gilbert Fireman, unless someone has a nice sig Ibanez Artist..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

For me it would be a set-neck Ritchie Blackmore Sig strat, lusted after one for 20 yrs...rare as hens teeth and big money when they do appear

Back in 1978 there was the Steve Miller signature Artist - the 2622. This had three tone knobs that controlled an active Eq system. I think other Steve Miller Artists were also made, some more conventional and some with the three=band Eq and additional switching options as well.
