    Trio+

A little box of awesome! It's made composition, practice and recording an absolute joy. Amp irrelevant.

    Chase Bliss Brothers.

Also an honourable for the TU-3. The buffer is perfect with all the TB pedals in my chain.

Using a 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue or a Roland JC40.

Special mentions also for the Digitech Obscura, and in the oldies-but-goodies used pedal stakes, an Arion SCH-1.

This is the only thing I've bought this year. More out of nostalgia than any real need of an EQ. It is good though, quieter than a GE-7.
Notice there's no footswitch: old skool.

  • I've only bought 2 pedals and one of those has gone back.

So DOD rubberneck it is (to be fair it is pretty awesome)
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

It's been a good year for stomps but top spot has to go the Broadcast, with the Creepy Fingers Dizzy Tone a close second (thanks @Lew ;;)

I got a Mantic Vitriol, and I can't believe how good it is. Best bass distortion I've ever used.

  • Unpopular this, but I had the Axe FX in March and despite the initial outlay for that (third-hand and a lot cheaper than new), it’s been a wonderfully cheap year, FX-wise. I want for nothing now!

Popular with me. The only pedal related stuff I’ve bought in years was and MFC101 and a Mission treadle to replace a Behringer FCB1010.

Oh man, another year of buying and selling, which I love !!

My 'awards'... forgive the non-pedal inclusion

No.1 - Fryette Power Station 2 - literally, changed everything

No.2 - Fender Johnny Marr Jag - full of melody

    No.3 - Helix - stunning versatility

No.4 - RYRA - adds a little bit more to every amp

Sonus Wahoo - incredible thing, closely followed by a MarkBass mini distortion.

I would have voted for Trio, but I may have had that more than a year now.
