    God, SevenEves was even worse. I'd clearly erased it from my memory.

    The Diamond Age and Snowcrash were pure genius, and I thought the Baroque Cycle was great, but again, a bit indulgent. Since then, great ideas that need an editor.

    You'd best avoid Reamde then, it's as though he started with no particular outline in mind and just wrote any and every idea that he came up with as he went, I got somewhere beyond halfway before giving up for good as yet another disconnected story line appeared.
