    The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Looks like they tried to do a Rickenbacker fireglo but hung it up to dry wrongly so the red all flowed down towards the neck.

    I like it more than I like most SGs. Always thought it a bid odd that the the guitar that’s supposed to be the rebel and demon is actually the most conservative of all. 

    Its really not very well executed though is it.

    Would prefer it if they'd finished the burst or gone for a different shaped fade - that just looks unfinished.
