This one. It does everything I need and is never an obstacle to what I want to do.

Of my current guitars, Strat.  I'd still like to give a PRS DGT a go though.
    No Darling....I've had that ages.

If we're talking a specific instrument that means something to us, then this...

The 1973 Strat that I've owned since 1979. It's been part of my life and I love playing it.

Love that!  It's how Walter Trout's Strat might have looked long ago.

Definitely my Vigier Excalibur, nothing else gets played much these days! (Although I have been messing about on my Casio DG-10 a bit recently...but not exactly a proper guitar ;) ).

Like a lot of people have chosen - definitely a Strat. Until 3 years ago it was the only guitar I'd ever played.

Would go HSS if I was only allowed one though. We should overthrow the tyrant imposing this unreasonable ration though! Viva la revolucion!

I know. They both started out as Olympic White - and it was white when I first played it in the shop (Blanks in Kilburn, if anyone remembers them). Still is white under the scratchplate. Nowadays Fender are making something with the aged colour finish, aren't they?

The Ryder Les Paul in my avatar. Am cutting down to just a few Les Pauls, Tremonti and my Telecaster

They certainly do aged finishes on the custom shop models, but as far as I know there's been no talk of an actual Walter Trout signature model.

If they made one I'd be sorely tempted (I'm not really a WT fan, I just think it's the coolest looking guitar ever).  But in fact I've already effectively got one, my CS Strat is a '70s maple-neck hardtail, just in a different colour.

So, I assume volume and tone are the chrome, what's the chickenhead for?
That's lovely by the way, I'm scared to Google for a price though- in case I CAN afford one & have to explain its arrival to the wife... Or I have to sell a kidney & THEN have to explain its arrival to the wife! ;)
