    PRS
    Reported
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Gibson have Victory and Thunderbird
Fender have a bunch of relic's - so an old and knackered army
    Fender:

    Bullet
    Cyclone
    Elite
    Maverick
    Prodigy
    Champion Lap Steel
    Champ
    Rumble
    Blender

    Gibson:

    Hummingbird
    Dove
    Gospel

Plus - they don't have any cash at the moment to buy any weapons anyway :)
Gibson would also release a new range of armaments every few months - no body will want them - chances are they won't work as required - Yet Fender won't create anything new - Just a rusty old replica of a Sten Gun

But after the war when the history books are written - You'll have the introduction, chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 , 7, 8, 9 - All going well for Gibson  so far - Chapter 10 not so well - And by the time we get to Chapter 11 we all know what happens then

@guitars4you - There's an appendix at the back of the book which lists all of Gibson and Fender's war atrocities and their collective genocide of some great musical brands.

Aggregate the coolness of Gibson players over the years. Even with Bonamassa in the mix, the Gibson boys would be formidable front line.

if I have to choose then Gibson, because my first love in semi acoustics, I'd rather have a 335 or ES175 than any Fender
