Which basic guitar design do you most associate with?

Its funny this. My first guitar was a stagg strat, and my second an esp ltd superstrat, then my third a very cheap ibanez gio, rg shape. 

Then all 3 were put away as I played an explorer and a 2 singecuts for the last 6 years. I like my singlecuts but they’re the most uncomfortable or cumbersome for me. 

The explorer I always loved because it feels like such an easy thing to play, in all positions. 

Then 2 days ago I dug out the Ibanez gio to get it set up for d tuning. I had a little play before sending it off to the tech. It felt weirdly like home. So familiar, like my hands hadnt forgotten the endless hours spent on it. 

Super comfy...

I now question everything...
