The one in GG here in Edinburgh is pretty heavy yep. Couldn't use it for a full 3x45m set but I have my main Suhr Tele for that - it's spanish cedar so not too chunky

They've got one of the very few good looking (none-Fender) six-a-side pegheads if you ask me.  Really nice design.

8.5lbs is heavy for a Strat I think - one of the photos if you’ve not found it already
