I no longer have the black one this one that's been on eBay for ages, different model of course but the same type of finish.  I like it a lot.

Just been looking for this out of curiosity - can't find it. Any chance of a link?

Search for PRS foil.  Ignore the SE line.

@RaymondLin ;;; thanks chap. Quite expensive for a standard with a nice finish..... Probably accounts for lack of sale!
An official Foo liked guitarist since 2024

That particular one is a wood library so it’s a one off and not your regular production run guitar.  I think that’s the only way you can get them now.  That one on eBay is the 85/15, mine is the 58/08.

Side note, ever since the release of the SE version in 2017, i feel it’s become much harder to search for them, any search for PRS Foil guitar will get you results of the SE models as they are production guitars as opposed the not in production full fat PRS.

This must be one of two best finishes I've seen on an electric guitar so far. With the other being a plain top lemon burst on a les paul of course

At last, a beautiful guitar on this thread!

There's something so nice looking about covered pickups that are flush with the pickup rings.

Don't know how folk can do that on the bridge with it still being set up properly.

Why don’t they bother to router the rear coverplates in?

They do, but not on S2 models.
