Nope, it’s not even close to the album it ripped off. Most of the rifs were stolen from ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’ by The Sex Pistols.
    For example?

According to the net (which means it must be true).. In the US it is Appetite with 18 Million sold followed by Boston:Boston which was 17 million.

    And don't forget
(first-week sales): All-time highest sales by a solo female artist is Susan Boyle with I Dreamed a Dream , which sold 411,820 copies in November 2009

Everything else is just personal opinion..   :)

For me it must be Are You Experienced though I do love Appetite. The guitar play between Slash and Izzy is just incredible at times.

Depends what you like I guess. Are we talking best debut album or best debut album for the guitar work?

    Way off.
The greatest debut album of all time is The Script Of The Bridge by The Chameleons.
My wife asked me to stop singing Wonderwall.
    I said maybe.....

I’d say Appetite pushes hard for first place. First heard it at 11 years old (actually bought Use your illusion 1 first as it was released when I was “old enough”). Keep going back to AFD though. Every song a classic.

    For example?
Just for starters, Slash ripped off a pistols riff on the intro to "it's so easy".

if you are very familiar with both albums, you can heavily hear the influences of NMTB in AFD. Pretty much every track has something taken from NMTB.

It’s certainly a lot better than anything they subsequently came up with.
