  • These look seriously awesome! I remember when Fender did a limited run of sand blasted guitars and they looked great. Jim Root had a red sandblasted jazz master that looked amazing.

The green is the clear winner here!

  • I think they look ok and being swamp ash they should give a different tone to the usual CU22’s.

  • How hard would this finish be to do? I’ve got a blaster at work somewhere...

I don't like them much, but full credit to them for trying something that isn't old-man burst or another bloody relic.

The blue one is the least bad, but slightly spoilt by the poor grain matching.

I rather like the look of these - but reckon a cream P90 would set them off perfectly......

  • I like the green and blue. Blue reminds me of ride the lightening.. lol.

Black one reminds me of Venom for some reason, and the Gold one something synyster gates would play if he was a Prs man..

They could have got a better red model though! Just looks like a regular thin coated/faded finish to me.

I reckon that an 80's metal band would cough up a hairball over these.
Shame. Innovation is good, but this isn't it for me.
As if that will cause PRS sleepless nights  :)

I've got one of those sand-blasted Strats. It doesn't feel as good as it looks but it's quite an interesting concept.

Not for me, I prefer the old-man burst as mentioned......I'd keep it a lot longer.

Did they forget to do the one at the back?

It just looks like plane mahogany.

I actually like the red one the others are a bit too oddball for me. If the stripes on the black were a bit more subtle and dark grey it’d be cool.

An interesting finish but not particularly attractive IMO.
Reminds me of some of those Fablon adhesive wood grain finishes. Looks fake and cheap.
