No, that was the ES2. This is a new version with different controls and layout.

The top end AZ series are in a weird market that’s predominantly Suhr, I’ll be intrigued to see how well they sell
The Jap AZ’s are at least a grand less than a Suhr, so same market for those who don’t want to spend 2.5k to 3k
£2200 for a base Suhr and s/h near as dammit the price of an AZ Prestige, I know which I’d rather buy tbh .
Their basses otoh look bloody amazing though that depends on the price in the UK
Not wishing to be dull, but do you mean the Suhr or Ibanez? Im guessing you mean Suhr?

I'd love to see reissues of the original 90s Talmans. Those were awesome.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

And a reissued wah and new mini tremolo and flanger. The ES3 looks interesting.

  • Oh good lord I MUST have one of these:

    https://www.ibanez.com/eu/products/detail/rg6ppbfx_1p_01.html

Mrs Grumpyrocker says it's a beautiful guitar. But I've got to honour my "one in one out" promise. And to be honest I'd happily shift two or three out of guitars I rarely play.

Lots there to like for me. I've really liked Ibanez since the 90s when I was a big Vai/Satch fan, although I feel that my personal Ibanez phase has been and gone many years ago

I love a good quality Ibanez guitar, some iconic shapes and their Japanese made stuff is so well made.

Just wish they had better naming system, as their abbreviations are awkward and sound a bit like prisoner cell numbers.

I’m a bit disappointed at not headless and no Talman ( with a less narrow nut preferably ) but some of the finishes look cool and the pickup selection is interesting.
    The bass range looks great.

Absolutely! The names are worse that terrible. Utterly impossible to memorise.

  • I really liked my RG721 in terms of the tone. I just didn't like the neck really.

    Bye!

You just need to learn the codes

The guitars and basses that look like it's a Caribbean island are just fantastic looking.

I like that maple-board JS model, although it might have been available for years for all I know.

I know the codes, they still sound awful and it doesn't help people that don't know wha it all means.

Just give them a decent name and I'd be happy.
