I like the George Benson  - subdued and subtle it is not!

I'm more interested in their jazzers as the rest is just a bag load of 'meh'. The musician models, ARs, destroyers etc from the 70s/80s were good quality kit. Yamaha have lost their way as well now, so it all just looks like the stuff teens use for blink 182 at the open mic night. Your first guitar kinda stuff, but with a huge price tag.

Just wish they had better naming system, as their abbreviations are awkward and sound a bit like prisoner cell numbers.
Absolutely! The names are worse that terrible. Utterly impossible to memorise.
You just need to learn the codes
I know the codes, they still sound awful and it doesn't help people that don't know wha it all means.

Just give them a decent name and I'd be happy.

I understand what you mean but the codes are descriptive of the guitar.

RG550 tells me what the guitar is.

    FireGoblin could be anything.
" Why does it smell of bum?" Mrs Professorben.

I used to know the model numbers in the days of 470, 550, 570, 720 etc and have a feel for the quality / capability of each
but I've lost touch with the new ones
play every note as if it were your first
