Not a thread I expected to see, I have been personally on the receiving end of a YouTube rant as a customer because I posted for advice on here, the posts he received were a joke written by sheep with a mob mentality. Whatever you think of Rob Chapman, the original poster of the video, the brand, the quality or if your choice is to ignore his rant on Youtube. The simple truth is he has incited hatred using his Youtube influence against the original videos poster and commented on a post regarding an alleged rape. Any mature individual would have tried to defuse such comments rather than seem to join in and I applaud the follow up statement from Riff City in the professional manner they are acting and I support any videos that are trying to defuse this ridiculous situation against the original poster. Ignoring people that use social platforms to bully or incite hatred against an individual is not good enough, at what point is it acceptable regardless of consequence and at what point is it not? Are death threats acceptable?

I had no knowledge of any of these past events and they would not have swayed me away from Rob Chapman or his guitars even if I did, the original poster was a customer of Chapman guitars first and foremost. But RC's smugness in his video and follow up posts show me the person and his products that I now see in a very different light.

Surely it would take a lot more effort to be a fake guitarist than to be a real guitarist who's just very, very bad. That would take no work at all, as I can attest. I'd be quite impressed if someone was a fake guitarist.
