I don’t understand how people can say it’s pointless widdling. To be honest, it’s not to my taste, I’m not generally a huge fan of that style of modern Latin classical composition (Lauro, Brouwer, etc), but it’s clearly not just widdling.

As long as some people enjoy it can't be pointless.  It's not the kind of thing I'd be likely to listen to myself, mainly because there's a helluva lot of music out there and you can't listen to it all.  There are other things I think I'll get more out of.  But she obviously has an exceptional talent and skills and if she can make a career of that she deserves it.

It's full of light and shade, fierce dynamics and real musicality. 

It's really not my musical cup of tea, but it's certainly not just pointless widdling.

When I saw mention of "pointless widdling", I was half-expecting some 180bpm performance on a pointy guitar with ultra-high gain, but instead I found a lively performance of a beautiful piece by a composer I didn't know: Quinque Sinesi. I shall certainly check his work out some more. I like the fusion of classical, jazz, and tango - similar to Astor Piazzolla.

I love his piece "Oblivion". Originally for bandoneón, it is widely-performed in various arrangements:

Phenomenal playing. technically brilliant and very passionate playing. wish i kept up my classical guitar playing i would be happy to play a tenth as good as that.
