Wow... in June I had 21 guitars...

I'm intending to bring that number crashing down in 2015 to just:

    1993 Fender Strat
    1972(ish) Fender Tele
    2008 Fender Jazzmaster AVRI 62
    2004 Fender Jaguar MIJ
    1976 Fender Precision
    2004 Gibson SG Special
    1978 Shergold Masquerader
    1979 Shergold Masquerader 12
    2013 Recording King Lap Steel

+ random acoustic (currently a Tanglewood)

I'll wait til after Chrimbo and after the January payday before I start listing the overspill on eBay!
    Never Ever Bloody Anything Ever.

  • I own my modded Epi Dot and an S&P acoustic. The Peerless is up for sale. One day I'd like a Jaguar in Lake Placid Blue and a 12-string acoustic.

Many things sold over the last few years, and down to a select few. Changed to playing more and more acoustic as well:

    51 CS Nocaster Relic
    59 E-S330 VOS
    Santa Cruz D (Cocobolo/Sitka)
    Santa Cruz Vintage Artist (Mahogany/Sitka)
Santa Cruz 00 1929 (All Mahogany)

As far as future purchases. Don't really do Humbuckers anymore, so that rules out quite a lot (thankfully). Only thing I might add is an LP Jr.

    I've got 4:

A modified Epiphone Dot in cherry

A super cheap but great playing Squier Strat

A Squier VM Jazzmaster in Sonic Blue (that I am wondering about selling)

and a very old Columbus acoustic.

Nothing particularly special but both the Dot and the Strat play lovely and sound great imo

  • Currently 4 electrics (one off for repair and trying to sell another) and an acoustic which I love.

Too many, I hate to admit. Even when one electric sells, those 3 electrics cost a fortune and still is probably one too many. Damn, I got caught up with GAS.

    Oh, is it?
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

My list has changed since I first posted, but still the same number overall... I was really trying to cut down but somehow I keep acquiring things!

4 electrics - Aria RS Standard, PRS Standard 22, Rickenbacker 381, Danelectro Convertible (on loan to singer)

4 acoustics - Gibson CJ-165, Gibson Dove, Martin D12-35, Ozark resonator.

    1 bass - Rickenbacker 4001

    1 uke - Mahalo koa
I've been trying to thin the herd/shuffle the pack this year. I currently have more than I did at the start of the process. Bah!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

  • 10 plus enough bits to make another couple:

Own design electric 'Swift III' (previous gigging guitar)
Modded Gear4Music Offset kit-build (present gigging guitar)
Levin ES335 - style (pretty sure it's not an actual Levin but that's what the unknown faker builder carefully inlaid it as)
    Gibson '60's Tribute' P90 LP Studio (un-modded...yes I know...)
    Indie LP (much modded)
    Epiphone LP (even mucher modded)
    Ibanez MH100 superstrat (modded)
    Home built OM Acoustic
K Yairi Flamenco (bought from new in 1970's in the loft.  Un-modded!!!!)
    Squier VM Jaguar Bass (veneered)

...and what do my 'pals' in the band get me to play.....mainly saxophone ....B*****DS!

    Electrics:

    1x Fender Strat Plus;
    1x MIM Tele;
    1x Ibanez RG hardtail.

    Gigging acoustics:

    1x Takamine dreadnought;
    1x Larrivee dreadnought.

    Other crap:

    1x Stagg nylon-string camping/garden guitar.

All of these get used according to mood. The gig earnings "guitar fund" is currently at £10 so it might be a quite a while before there are any changes to the roster. :)

EDIT: Oops just walked into the lounge and there was my Yamaha RGX121D staring at me accusingly. :|
I'm just a Maserati in a world of Kias.
