I shave my head so I'll pass. I did twat it on the top of the shed door at the weekend though, so while that heals I did think about shaving it into a mohawk... I'll post pictures if it looks hilarious

I was rummaging around for something over the weekend and came across a student id card from decades ago in the days when I had my hair cut three times a year. I could well be reprising the look in a few weeks.

argos clippers £12, put no1 guard on ,throw the others away 

job done ,after  2 cuts clipper paid for !

save enough over the year for a half decent pedal

Well...the beard has come off. It's the first time I've grown one and it was driving me bloody mad. I was touching my face constantly. The hair's getting on my nerves though. I'm not sure I can get Argos clippers delivered, but I'll check to see what else is around. Thanks for the pointer!

In the 20+ years I’ve been shaving my head I reckon I’ve saved over £4K in barber fees. I’ve probably spent ~ £300 on various clippers in that time.

Amazon seem short of stock of clippers but I’m sure if you search hard you’ll get something...

I have no idea what I would look like with a 1 all over - I feel like I need to wait for a holiday rather than turn up on a webinar with the result.

  Well it's 7 weeks since I posted the OP. My hair is growing into mad curls, especially at the back. Looking a bit like 90's britpop, a bit Gruff Rhys maybe? Or a total mess.  I need to watch out for the back, potential for a serious mullet there. Oh and that's my first pint since lockdown!

I've had to shave my beard tonight- daughter #1 is deaf but wears hearing aids. 
She's got an ear infection... No hearing aids at present... Can't lip read past my beard. So it's gone. Seemed quicker than learning sign language! 

We ARE learning to sign, but it's literally learning a new language.
