'Limelight' by Rush is a fun one.

'The Spirit Of Radio' - also Rush - for when you are a little more advanced. :D

The hammer-on pull-off thing at the beginning? that sounds pretty straightforward

    Day 2 progress:

Satriana - Satch Boogie - First half of the intro riff
Sea Horses - Love i the Law - Intro riff
Offspring - Million Miles Away - Intro Riff
Clutch - Electric Worry - Verse Riff

So the love is the law intro was pretty straight forward twiddly open chord stuff. I don't have a capo so just played is transposed down. I did have a half hearted attempt at playing it with a barre but the stretch is too wide for me.

Hopefully this afternoon I can steal some more time to come back and complete satch boogie intro.

Update:  Or maybe I'll jsut get distracted and knock out some easy ones

The pattern itself isn’t difficult, but playing it repeatedly at speed a la the song takes quite a bit of practice in my experience.

    This Charming Man
Was one of my Grade 6 pieces.  Got such bad performance anxiety that my hands were shaking as I tried to play it.  Utterly bonkers, but still have nightmares about it :cold_sweat:

It’s been literally my life’s work to master This Charming Man all the way through. Now thanks to youtube and online tutorials I’m almost there, probably no errors 2 or 3 times out of ten. I recently learned the solo from Stairway to Heaven and can already play that all the way through with less mistakes than TCM (although still shite at both, if the truth be told).

Just watched a video...it does look pretty tough, especially as its well outside my style. Maybe after satch boogie.
